Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain)

If you suffer from chronic heel pain it may be caused by a common problem known as Plantar Fasciitis.

Occasionally people who have this symptom may also be dealing with the added problem of a heel spur.

Dr Goldbaum starts his evaluation with X-Ray equipment and also uses diagnostic ultrasound for the soft tissue evaluation.

Oral medications, injections, orthopedic strapping and taping, as well as the use of orthotic inserts are used to help treat and alleviate the pain. In some cases small incision surgery may be performed if necessary.
